For over two decades, Colibri has developed hundreds of custom software apps using a highly effective process that takes advantage of Agile methods and other modern app development techniques.
We provide our applications to businesses and institutions in a wide variety of industries. Our apps take advantage of the FileMaker professional low-code platform, SQL, REST APIs and JSON, JavaScript, PHP, and other technologies.
Colibri is a certified Claris Partner and FileMaker Reseller. Colibri principals have been invited speakers at the numerous worldwide FileMaker Developer Conferences, Claris–sponsored webinars, and other events.

James J. Wesolowski
Founding Partner
James founded Colibri and he has been the lead architect for many of Colibri’s custom apps as well as our RPM product. Prior to Colibri, James was a technology consultant to several international development and relief organizations. James has extensive experience in FileMaker app and SQL database development and expertise in process consulting, and project management, including over two decades in research and educational computing. James is a graduate of The Johns Hopkins University.
Karen Seiger
Business Development
Karen is an export in strategic marketing and client management who worked in international business development for many years at American Express and has consulted for creative businesses, technology startups, and international development programs. Karen received her BA from Wright State University and MA from The Johns Hopkins University.
J Sciarra
Senior Consulting Technologist
J served as chief technologist from 2006 and led the technical development of our application frameworks, the eLife app framework, and custom app engagements. J is a dedicated technologist with a consistent commitment to understanding the broad changes occurring within technology as well as a focused skill set, including expertise in app design, integration, and implementation using FileMaker, SQL, REST APIs, PHP, XML, and AWS. J attended Reed College.
