GoodWeave is an international NGO working to end illegal child labor in the carpet industry in South Asia and offering education to children rescued from the carpet looms.  Retailers can guarantee to consumers that no children were exploited or enslaved to make carpets that carry the GoodWeave label. 

 

GoodWeave Founder Kailash Satyarthi was awarded the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize.

 

Colibri developed a management system that combines fundraising with GoodWeave’s unique trademark licensing and invoicing processes. We also worked with GoodWeave’s international staff to manage and transfer field operations data to headquarters in Washington DC. 

 

Since 1999, Colibri and the FileMaker Platform have been in a partner in the growth of GoodWeave’s operations and donor base.  GoodWeave has reduced child labor in the carpet industry by 75%, and we are proud to have played a small part in that success.
